Topic: LCD left in trailer Posted: 25 Oct 2009 at 2:00pm |
Hey guys,
Does anyone know if an LCD can be left out in the freezing temps in Michigan?
I was going to leave both of mine out in the trailer, but I got to thinking LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display, so the word liquid kind of got me to thinking about it.
So do any of you keep your LCD in the trailer while freezing temps outside ? Or do you all bring them in to a warm area?
Thanks
Brian

Specs on my LCD say "Storage: -20 - +55 C, Humidity 20 - 85%
For the high country Colorado winters, I bring it in to the house storage room. Don't want to take a chance.

I live in Northern Canada and I leave both of mine in at-40 degrees. No problems yet but I would not turn it on while it's frozen.

Had mine in storage the past two winters with no issues. Of course, I live on the warm side of Michigan
