Thats a good question? Would have to check on that one.  Thought they were all made from the same material.

3LT warm water
2/3 cup of bleach
1/3 cup of dish detergent
1/3 cup TSP
Mixed it well and then apply with soft brush on both sides of the open awning.
Roll it in and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Open and rinse it well.
Cheaper than all formulas sold and better results.

My awning is an AE brand name (I think) and the material is a vinyl type. I use the water and bleach solution on it. The Sunbrella type is more of a clothe material and I don't know if you would want to use bleach on that.

My neighbor turned me onto the cleaner that he uses, Just plain old clorox cleaner with bleach (make sure you wear some cloths you dont care about cause the bleach will tie-dye your clothes). I used it too and it made my A&E awning, (which is the vinyl type also)shine like it was new again. No mixing just spray it on, use a scrub brush if needed and then srpay off with a hose, let dry and roll it up.

Thanks you guys hard to believe that after only a year it is already that dirty. I even make sure that it is dry before I roll it up.  Think that the brand on mine is the dometic think thats how you spell it.

I use a mix that danshula listed minus the 1/3 cup TSP and it works well.  I just make sure to hose down and wash the whole side of the trailer when I am done.  I don't want any chance that the bleach will do anything to the decals or anything else for that matter.

I use Spic and Span powder.  I got the suggestion from some folks on this forum and I will say it really works!  I just use a sponge and put it on and then use a brush on any stubborn areas then rinse.  You do need to keep rinsing it off the side of the camper or it will leave streaks.  I used it on my slide out topper late this summer and it had never been cleaned.  It was filthy but it came clean with very little effort.

Just in cause anyone else would like to know I had a bottle of Tilex mold and mildew remover under the sink in the house figured I would give it a try. Poured it in a pump up sprayer and added about half a bottle of water, puped up and sprayed with a very light scrub and just like that a new awning. Figured I would try it before I took off to the store.
