REDWOOD RV HOSTS SEVENTH NATIONAL OWNERS RALLY

By The CrossRoads Team | August 7, 2018

More than 200 people gathered at Indiana’s Shipshewana South Park Campground the week of July 16th for the Redwood Owners’ Group National Rally.

Now in its seventh year, the annual event, themed “Redwood is a customer focused brand,” welcomed 88 Redwood RVs and over a dozen soon-to-be Redwood owners, according to a press release. For five days, attendees visited with 16 vendors, attended over a dozen seminars and took a tour of the builder’s manufacturing facility in Topeka, Ind. In addition, attendees met with CrossRoads’ Redwood leadership team to hear about the future of the brand and new product development, while representatives also answered owners’ questions as they were read aloud in a town-hall type session.

Ryan Juday, president of Redwood/CrossRoads RV, welcomed the group stating, “Thank you. Without you, our Redwood owners, we wouldn’t be here today. Thank you for everything.”

He continued, “We have an obligation to provide the best possible communications from our team to you. This starts before the sale, resonates through our dealer network, and never ends. We are here to help and drive communications throughout your Redwood ownership.”

Juday’s comments were echoed by Tim Cress, Redwood product manager. Cress explained how some innovations come from the owners group and are then reviewed for possible implementation into future designs. Cress gave examples of how this interaction with customers has helped build the brand.

Nate Nickell, Redwood general manager, and Cress offered insights to 2019 and 2020 Redwood design. “The market is ever-changing and we want to make sure we have the ability to adapt and change to our purchasing customers’ needs. We want to connect to buyers from multiple generations — from current owners to the new wave of potential purchasers,” said Nickell. “The future is what we make it. We can make any changes we want to make, but we need to be sure that the changes we do make are weighed and crafted with the utmost concern for affordability, and trust me, when I tell you we want to earn your business again.”

Situated in the heart of Amish country and a short walk to one of the Midwest’s largest auctions, attendees were kept busy with a poker night, bean bag tournament, campfire gatherings and countless meals.

The rally ended on Friday with a meal catered by Redwood RV. “Everyone seemed to have a smile on their face. We really enjoy being with our Redwood owners”, said Cress.
